ipad as field machine

hi,
Just thought of Ipad – did anyone tried to use it as field machine to deal with pics? Size seems to be handy to take when traveling..
I usually use Adobe DNG converter and Adobe CS3 to deal with Nikon *.NEF files..
CJhey, I use a netbook in the field as I can shoot teathered and find the hart life great. my only issue with using an ipad would be software issues. but if your MAC based already couldn’t imagine it being an issue.
