IR Filter flynnyParticipant January 4, 2009 at 3:04 pm I would like to have a go at some IR shots. Can anyone tell me what kind of filter is best? And ,if anyone has info on where to purchase? Thanks, Paul. MartinParticipant January 4, 2009 at 7:26 pm I would recommend getting one of two filters, both will give the same effect 1) Heliopan 715 2) Hoya R72 Below site sells the Heliopan http://macodirect.de/infrared-filters-heliopan-c-1_255_257.html The Hoya R72 is the more common one available on all good web sites eg ebay My preference is for the Heliopan, think the rings are made from brass so they don’t get stuck on the front of the lenses as easy as the Hoya especially the slim versions… Enjoy M flynnyParticipant January 4, 2009 at 9:07 pm Thanks Martin, Wasn’t at all sure of what to get. Thanks again. Paul Viewing 3 posts - 1 through 3 (of 3 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
