Anyone know anything about them? May be able to get my hands on a second one for a great price (free) but have no details on it.

So, can you offer some advice on what to look for?

I was involved in selling these in the past. It was the best printer around in 1993 when did a show in the Grand Hotel in Malahide. It was the original Giclee printer and paper was stuck around a drum, spun at low speed and then printed on. However, the original Iris printers were dye based and faded quite quickly compared with todays.

Pre-press companies bought them but I can’t remember any that are still around. Today I would buy an Epson……

Give me a ring if you want to know more.

    Ken,
I can highly recommend Sheldon as a supplier if you need a printer, paper, inks and so forth……..or monitors !!
And he knows the way to Galway……well at least as far as Skehana – now Ballygar could be a problem !!!!!

Sound Gerry, handy enough get lost going to Ballygar alright.

I’ve found the sound of a cheque being written is a great homing beacon for my suppliers though ;-)

It will be a bit better if ye can get the new by-pass there that brings you around by Ballyforan, Athlone and into Roscommon. (I should be a planner in the Council or the NRA !)

The cheque is a great but a friend of mine recons that there is nothing in the world to come close to the sweet aroma of old mouldy cash when he’s on the recieving end. I think he could be right !
