Some shots of Daniel Martin who demolished the field last Sunday to win the National Road Race by over 3 minutes. Class act.
Wesley 3 great shots particularly the last one as it shows so much emotion. You must have moved at some speed to get from the track to the finishing line sure Daniel didn’t come second after you .
SodaNot experienced on know how about Cycling shots but these do look fantastic, #1 my fav but #3 pushes it, pity about the parked cars/van in #3, love the Ford with the guy pumping his fists.

I like the emotion in the last one too. I agree about the red van. Could find a better crop, tighter or probably vertical.Now that you mention it Sodafarl we did a fair bit of moving around during this race. 10 laps of approx 10 miles circuit and we caught them at 8 different locations never driving against them. Being a local I know a few short cuts to come out at choice locations before them.
I was to happy to get a wide range of different shots during that race. Here are a few more.
I wasnt out in the middle of the road for this one. There was a long drag with a bend near the top.

I can’t remember someone doing this to a field of top level cyclists in Ireland in many a year. I thought Nicholas Roche would have been the man this year but I think he was marked as well as Deignan but when someone like Daniel Martin leads from the start and bridges a break then solos home it’s only a matter of time when he’s shining in the top levels internationally. I mean, when was the last time you heard of an Irish guy wining a stage race on the continent??
