    Interesting challenge Robbie,
I would never have thought of that-
    Personally I prefer the colour-

I’m not sure its the right subject,
and its definitely not sharp enough anyway,
but I had a stab at it-

    The reds never convert well,
    always looks a bit ethereal-
    Dontcha think?

    While I was at it,
I fixed the distortion, as suggested by Tim-
Too bad it can’t be fixed in Aperture-

Ethereal yes, but a nice coversion nonetheless.
A more ‘menacing’ feel to the overall image in black and white.
    Like it.

Definitely!! Is almost like a different shot altogether..like the darker brother who’s kept hidden in the attic…

The reds have just disappeared okay..but the sea looks like it’s about to have the boat for lunch…

    Really nice conversion. :D

I think I know what you mean-
though we keep our gimps in the basement-
    Glad you like it,
I took extra care with the sharpening and the horizon-
I knew you’d be looking

It has the effect of looking like a ghost ship.

Damn right to Joseph..I’d never stand for crooked horizons or dodgy sharpening techniques…

It never happened…I categorically deny it..and on mature recollection I have no memory of any such picture at all.

It was probably my financial advisor..who unfortunately passed away recently

    I know nothing…I’m from Barcelona!!
