This topic is empty. is 120 still practical? randomwayMember May 25, 2009 at 10:50 am Back to the original question, if film is “practical”… I think, it is not. Is it fun/different/alternative?… Yes. I am not into low-fidelity photography, but it looks like fun, and the people shooting Holgas are all mad, mad folk.. good company so. jb7Participant May 25, 2009 at 11:38 am Well, I think it is practical- it depends how you define it- By your definition, Zoltan, anything can be an alternative, even digital. If all you want to do is post 600w on the internet, then perhaps it’s overkill. If all you want to do is photograms, then perhaps you don’t need it at all- btw, Zoltan- have you tried doing teeny tiny photograms on the D200 yet? randomwayMember May 25, 2009 at 12:37 pm jb7 wrote: btw, Zoltan- have you tried doing teeny tiny photograms on the D200 yet? I will have to think about using my scanner as photosensitive surface, not a bad idea, JB. Viewing 3 posts - 16 through 18 (of 18 total) ← 1 2 You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
