    Pat.

I really like the image but I know very little about this type of photography so that’s why I didn’t comment earlier. The reason I’m posting now, is I think this is the first time in over a year and maybe even longer that an image has got so much attention and I think it’s great, really what the site needs. :D :D

So thanks to Pat for posting and thanks to everyone else who has contributed to this thread, hopefully this is the start of many more threads like this. :D

I prob wud prefer him looking directly down but, u have chosen your way and it works too. Well done and keep up the good work !

You’re obviously a guy who is happy in his own little world as long as someone doesn’t come along to break his bubble!
Whatever I may have said regarding your image you may well disagree with but if someone of the calibre of Noel Browne
points out the same critique it would pay to take notice.

If you’re that vain in your reluctance to accept critique, you have no place in a forum such as this.

And you John are obviously a ‘troublemaker’ a saddo who has nothing better to do but trawl through forums looking for some way to satisfy your sad little mind and try his best to start a debate of some kind…away with ye son!!!

I acknowledged you and Noels comments and took them on board. I still think the ball made no difference. When Sirvad said so I agreed as it is my opinion also. That’s not to say that you or Noel are wrong!

    Get over it sonny

    BTW, thanks again for commenting.

Hi Pat, I didn’t get involved again and it was great to get a bit of debate going alright…look…as for taking notice or not
of what I had to say and as flattering as it may be I am definately no expert in the portrait field and John17 was over the top in his last post…as I said it was a nice image with a few flaws in my eyes but its a pity sometimes that discussions decend to this level…its a critique forum and we all give out twopence worth and it shoud be left at that.

    Noel.
