great capture and tone. dump the bottom one. dull snap.myles
RobMemberVery nice Richie. Love the first, fantastic colours throughout,
and a horizon you could shave with…Rob.
richiehatchMemberCheers guys….
Yeah Baltray beach is lovely… its always fairly quiet even at this time of the year as it quite difficult to get to…
As it happens Myles the third one was one of my favorites from the morning… I personally like its plain simplicity and strong lines…! Sometimes images have just too much stuff in them…! Maybe I shouldve put it in the Abstract section…! Certainly wont be dumping it…! Cheers anyway.

MartinParticipantThree nice picture Richie, super colours. Number 2 would be my favorite as it has the most interesting foreground. Really like Baltray beach. I can just about see the boat wreck in the background. Only thing i can suggest is to burn less in the top half of the sky as its possibly a bit to blue compared to the bottom half of the sky
Martin
richiehatchMemberCheers Martin…!
I still haven’t got the picture of the wreck that I want… timing will be essential for that one I tell ye…! As for the gradient in the sky…. I didnt do any burning on these ones… a bit of levels and saturation and thats about it…! Was a fab sky…! Thanks again for the comments. Someday I will bump into you…!
Richie
MartinParticipantSomeday I will bump into you…!
We sure will. During the winter months when the sun rises at a normal hour we must arrange a meet with some of the other members at Clogherhead. Before then if you see a guy around Drogheda with a Photography Ireland Camera strap say hello as it might be me :-)
Martin
richiehatchMemberI certainly will Martin…! Have yet to spot any straps anywhere…! The meet at a respectable hour in Clogher is definitely on…!
Richie
RobMemberCount me in for that one too. I can get to Clogher in 40 minutes
from Kells…Rob.
Stephen ByMemberWell done Richie
