Is This the Canon EOS 5D Mark II?

A short little piece to fuel the rumour mill – http://www.mobilemag.com/content/100/336/C12834/ Unfortunately, there are no specifics worth talking about :-(
Don’t wait for the mark2 Thorsten…just buy the version that’s been out for the last year or so. It’s mega! (PS: i think the mark11 label has been added to that pic, it’s quite small compared to the one that’s on the 1D Mark11N).
Ken Rockwell has something on his site about a 7D. Claims it will use the 16.7MP sensor out of the current 16.7MP 1D.
It is going to be pretty expensive if it does come out. I will look out for a 5D after they announce the replacement, hopefully the price will drop to the ?1k mark. Scoop up that with a 16-35mm L Mk2…..landscape kit sorted :D

Yes, clearly a fake but I fully expect Canon to announce a replacement to the 5D within the next few months. I think Ken Rockwell is probably near the mark when he speculates it will be called the 7D and will have 16.7MP. I’m already saving my pennies.
(BTW, am I the only person to like Ken Rockwell?)

Yeah, I would expect the 5D to be replaced soon too but I think they might release the next 1DS before then.
