Is this the first ever PI post?

Was curious earlier (quiet in work!).
Is this the earliest PI post?
If so, that would make PI 9 years old on October 21st (next Wednesday) – surely a date should not pass without some sort of an event …
What about:
1. A most users ever on-line – we all make sure to log on at a certain time and set a new record (hope the servers can handle it!!).
2. We all arrange to go to a pub in our home towns/villages and have a drink at a certain time?
3. We have an on-lone birthday party on PI?Any other suggestions?

As for 2000 being the start year…will it take another 9 years for PI II??
Strange, that 2000 date. Must have had something to do with the recent date time issues on the server (guessing).
The site started of course in 2006…BM: The most amount of members is something like 53 in a 5 min period (might be 10 min but think its something like 5,
unlike other sites who do a 1hr period which brings up the stat alot :) ) Its shown at the bottom of the site anyhow.Hey Alan, less of the 9yr PI II wise cracks on another oompa loompa gets it ;) Ya I know where you keep them :)

Looks like we’ll have to wait until next year for a birthday party …
I still fancy an “everyone on-line” event, perhaps the PI virtual Christmas party
… where all sorts of things could virtually take place …
