stunning shots! nice quirky ones in there with the serious racing ones. what turn is that with the stone wall? near schoolhouse? Poor Mr. Farquar certainly didn’t live up to his number 1 plate. McGuinness however certainly did Joey’s old number three proud. R.I.P. to Marc Ramsbottom and the two spectators killed during the Senior, a pity the centenary had to be cast in sadness but such is the always present danger. Your shots are a great account of a fantastic event Steve.

Thanks everyone for the kind feedback.
Sancho – the stone wal is a part of the course called Tower Bends, just below the Gooseneck.

Great shots. I like that you’ve overcome the 6 foot problem and gone lower in a bunch of them.

    Cheers guys.
ritchie – yeah, the 300mm was smoking by the time I came home!! lol
sean – very seldom do I ever shoot at normal height, I really like getting lower which I think gives a better perspective (when it’s safe to do so obviosuly).

    Steven,

Cracking shots all of them, please can you give us all a masterclass in the technique section with your 5 top tips for bike shots. I also really like the ‘non bike’ shots that capture the spirit of the event.
