It’s time I posted one

I figure since I have been posting a bit here it’s time to post an introduction.
I’m Ian, I’m a 27 year old web developer from Killarney. I got pointed here by Tiny who is an old friend of mine.
I have been interested in photography for a long time, but I never really did anything with that intrest. I decided about two or three weeks back to make a go at learning it properly though. I currently own a fuji s5600 bridge camera, and I have all intentions to pick myself up an SLR (Thinking about the d60 with the dual lens kit atm) and in the meantime Tiny has kindly lent me his d50 so I can learn the ropes and decide is this something that I want to drop a grand to just to get me started. I don’t really know what type of photography I am into yet, most of what I have done so far is landscape because that’s what we have plenty of around Killarney =) But I am really interested in trying other types, Sports and Macro especially.
So far I am very much enjoying my time here, I think I am finally getting the hang of all these camera settings and it’s mostly artistic stuff that I need to learn now (And photoshop!)

If you need any help camera-wise or PS-wise give me a holler. I own a Sony A700 so others will frown but hey, it takes pictures!! ;-)
