Jameos del Aqua – Lanzerote

A cave with natural occuring lagoon inside, there is a hole in the roof of
the cave which lets a shaft of light in to illuminate the stones in the bottom
of the lagoon, quite dark inside and no tripods allowed due the narrow
walkways.

I have similar sentiments to those expressed about
your other Lanzarote posts.I like it because of the memories but I don’t thing the
image is quite as successful as the other lagoon image.The lighting conditions were probably very tricky and you
have done well taking this into account.Cheers,

Thanks John, I only saw the detail in the overhead rocks when it came
to processing, it was so dark :) It was my first time there and I really
loved the place, so different to anything I have seen before and would
love to return there some day.:)
The “stones” at the bottom are albino crabs,
I think they are unique to Lanzarote.

the pool I must take a closer look, thanks.Another nice one Jenny,
Tricky conditions as John mentioned, a big speedlight for the next time would help I think.
I would say there was a nice cool temperature in there compared to outside?
