Japanese Maple

I joined about 1 year ago, and soon after that I posted my first shots for C&C of Autumnal Japanese maple.
So I thought I’d put up another shot of the same subject. Taken yesterday.

Nice colours; they loose leaves much earlier in Ireland.

Beautiful shot, great detail in the highlighted leaves and the DOF is ideal to blur distractions

Nice shot Martin. Lovely colours and nice details. Only gripe is that the top leaves are little lost against the background leaves, not sure you could do anything about this.

This is really quite lovely Martin…

Sometimes I might be distracted by aspects of an image, like the leaves at
the top of the frame in this one, in focus yet not the focal point intended…

In this case, both the colour and composition are strong enough to win me
over completely. I’d be more than pleased to have taken this, equally pleased
to hang it on my wall. Lovely bokeh too…

You have improved considerably in a year… (I did go back for a sneaky look at your original attempts)

Cheers guys, it is a bit random, but thats the nature of nature I guess. I’m pretty pleased with it.

Rossco thankfully I have improved a bit, a lot of thought and effort over the year [but I think a lot of cash played a great part too, the lens is more expensive than last years one  ]
