    I’d be interested in knowing how to take this type of shot better….where I am pointing the camera upwards, and the subject matter is in this type of grid formation. The photo is clearly someway off being right, but is it always going to be if you are pointing the camera upwards, or is there someway around it.

    As a personal preference I’d have homed in solely on the centre column of jars here… gotten in much closer… captured some finer detail… and let those vibrant colours give the image more life.

    As it is.. everything is a little distant and there’s a few distractions on the right hand side.

    Hi Liam,

    John might be onto sometime there.

    But on your question of shooting upwards there is a photoshop way to correct the distortion. Its something I have done only once or twice.
    I googled and found a short explanation at this link.

    There are types of lenses used mostly in architectural work, I believe, that also correct this. They are called tilt and shift lenses.
