JohnParticipantMartinParticipantDeadly  someone else with an IR converted camera my wish has come true :-)
Very nice shot. Colours and exposure etc are super. Only thing I might change is the composition
The top half of this picture is magic. I think if you lost some of the foreground to make this a square format picture you would get the most out of it (but i might be wrong cant make up my mind fully). If the picture was in landscape format showing more of those magic trees with some of that great foreground it would be totally magic but I was not there so maybe this might not have worked. All in all a great picture
I really like the colour channel switching always wanted to try this but my images always come out too red so they don?t look good enough. How did you set your white balance to get most of the red removed?
Great location also. would love to do some climbing or trekking in the grand tetons
Cheers and looking forward to seeing more

first of all, thanks martin, i’ll try this tonight. i don’t sell too many square format pics, but now that you mention it, i think you’re right about making it square. either way, it won’t hurt to have two versions of the crop.

i’ll get you the exact details later, but my original attempt left the sky more of a teal color than blue. i used hue in lightroom to make the red sky more orange then tried it again and it came out blue that time. white balance was set manually using grass instead of a white wall (it ended up being 2000 kelvin, lowest setting there was…).
