Nice. Not what I expected to see – I had envisaged an older man.
Looks like you’ve got the focus in the right place but I’d have liked some more depth of field.
I think the sepia suits the image but I’d be interested to see other colour processings if you have them.
I’d also be interested in some background on the photo.
Not what I expected either! I like the expression of concentration on his face but I find the out-of-focus bobbins in the foreground very distracting – maybe a tighter crop might work?
Orla.Don’t worry guys, he’ll be older in a time. Yeah the foreground is distracting. Without the bobbins the composition looks empty. i tried to crop it.
