I don’t know why there haven’t been any comments on this shot as I think it is a great portrait and a brilliant conversion.
It looks to be very sharp and I think the lighting particularly the way it highlights the beard is excellent.

Great shot as said and good processing . One question though is your focus point the beard/Lips or the nearest eye??. It should be the latter but cant help but feel its the beard???……Just being picky here of course, still a great portrait

Great shot. It just jumps out at you. Beautiful tones and an unusual expression (always good to see something different). I really like it. As a matter of interest what process did you use for your B&W conversion ?

Great image! Love these style of portraits. can you advise the shooting and processing techniques to get this style of portrait, where the wrinkles and imperfections are accuentated to add depth and carachter?
