This is a concept that I have wanted to try for some time. It took
3 goes to get this image. I was happy with how it turned out…..
Yes Jenny silver and red glitter mixed in her hands. One strobe used through translucent umbrella at 1/8 power three feet in front of model to light her face. One strobe camera left snooted, pointed sideways to the right at the same height as model’s hands at 1/2 power to light the glitter. Friend on right of model holding silver reflector pointed towards positioned strobe to reflect light back in the space where the glitter would be blown. 3rd strobe about one foot in front of model at waist height pointed to the sky at 1/4 power (zoomed in to 85 mm) to light glitter above, after it was blown towards the lens.
