A lovely portrait well done. The girls pose/look is great and the redness in the cheeks gives it a very natural look. The scarf just sets it off really well.
A great wintery feel to it and with the background well out of focus it really works.IMHO

Well done what set up did you use?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply… fairly basic setup I’m afraid Sony Alpha A230 with a 50mm Minolta Prime F2.4.

I tweaked the contrast in PS & used PP9 on the model.

Happy with the result as its one of the first shots I’ve taken with the camera where I didn’t just use auto mode and point & shoot.

Lovely shot overall, bit of tweaking the bright backlit sky to decrease the brightness, but I love the shot!!

I’m No expert but i do like this. great first attempt too. IMO i’d crop in, to just include scarf but thats just my own preference .

If you’d had a dark background, her face would have really stood out. Lovely rosy skin.
