    Very nice Doll. Lovely and sharp at the eye, even a catchlight, though I can’t
    help feeling that you could do with just a little more contrast in your post-processing
    and just a teensy little more sharpening once you’ve resized for web display.
    You’re really getting the hang of Alimpus. Keep it up…

    I have to remember that..sharpen very last :wink:
    Sometimes I realise that I really don’t know much at all :shock:

    Will keep at it..is impossible not too…waaaaaay too addictive!

    Decided to use this as my avatar for the time being, because, well it fit the dimensions, and I feel like a silly goose a lot of the time :wink:

    Like the way the goose stands out from the picture. Nice detail of the eye and neck.

    What a poser!! :D I like your treatment too. Love that long stiff neck, tight lips (well beak), “oh go away paparazzi, yes, I am going to meet the Queeen” kinda look!!

    Hi Sharon,
    I’ve looked at this a few times now-

    Great detail in the bird,
    looks like exposure and sharpening was spot on-

    Not so sure about the vaseline vignette though-
    but that’s just me-
