    Great idea, Carl.
    I like it a lot.
What sort of shutter speed did you need?

Hi Swordie, here is a paste from the exif:

    Camera: Canon EOS 350D Digital
    Exposure: 0.004 sec (1/250)
    Aperture: f/2
    Focal Length: 50 mm
    ISO Speed: 400
    Exposure Bias: 0/2 EV
    Flash: Flash did not fire

Thanks to everyone for their comments. I seriously didnt think this one would generate any interest!

Great shot Carl. Hard on the eyes this hour of night it so amazing. I’d love to see it printed.

Alignment was a pure fluke as it was hand-held

Fair play to you – hand holding’s good – makes the story of the shot much more interesting. In this case if it was even slightly off, you’d notice it immediately because of the hard horizontals & verticals. My pics are usually off by that very annoying “very slightly” factor! I bet if you tried to recreate it, you’d take a bunch of shots, not one of them would be as perfectly aligned.
