Love the sweeping motion of the water that leads you round to the lighthouse. Very nice :)

Lovely shot. as Gary said, the water motion really leads the eye through the shot. Sky and colours are also lovely. Well done on a great Shot !

    Hi Paul,

Nice one indeed. I really like the wave that joins in at the bottom left. It forms a nice lead-in line to the lighthouse.

    Well done.

    Cheers,

    Thanks for the responses lads,
    As always they are appreciated,
I’ve added a mono version above,
I’m not sure if I should maybe do a little burning on the sky??

    The B&W is stunning too….
I think you could be right about the sky though!!! It doesn`t stand out just as much as in the colour version…
Dont think it`ll need too much tho

    Hi Paul,

When I read the “.. Mono Version Added” I didn’t think it could be as goos as the colour.
I must say I was pleasantly surprised.
It is very good as well.

The sky is pretty good, maybe a lttle burn but as Dave says not too much.

    Two good photographs.
    That’s a result I’d say.

    Cheers.

    John.

Love the colour one there…! Great movement in the water. One serious swell. Reminds me of Andy McInroys shot here….

    I really like your images.

I think that there is great detail and tones in the sea in the colour version and you have really captured the rough sea that day.

I think that some of that detail is slightly lost in the B&W version eg where the sea rolls off the rocks. Regardless of that, it’s a great image in either format.

    Well done.

Love the colour one, I would get this printed as large as any wall could carry it and HANG.

    Gorgeous.

Outstanding. As Gypsy said, that would look great as a huge print.
Colour version has more definition in the sky than the B/W version but perhaps a tad more processing would change that. either way, great shot. What shutter speed did you use ?
