Juvenile Green Woodpecker

Just back from a visit to London, while there I visited the London Wetland Centre in Barnes, a wonderful
wildlife sactuary right in the heart of London, the only thing that gave the location away was the constant
aeroplanes flying over! This juvenile Green Woodpecker was making quite a racket in the tree, I was
delighted to have seen it…..a first for me!
Have we these in Ireland, I’ve never seen one if we have. A nice shot considering he looks high up.
