For a couple of weeks, this little one, it’s sibling and it’s parent were coming into my back garden. The parent would hunt for insects in the freshly mown grass while the juveniles waited to be “hand fed” I’ve been working from home for a while so I could watch them non-stop. It was impossible to even go outside wihtout scaring them away if the parent was nearby. I managed to get this snap off while “momma” was in the next garden.

Nice one, surprised it stayed still for a shot :) What lens did ya use?

I was using an EF 100-400L. It actually let me get pretty close before it moved further down the fence from me. I was surprised how tame/immature it was because normally I can’t get this close to wild birds that aren’t used to feeders.
