Keem Beach, Achill Island

Probably one of the most scenic beaches in Ireland and a personal favourite. Took a walk up to the old watch-tower above the beach to get this shot. I quite like the but as with a lot of my landscapes, I think it lacks a central focus..
A couple of more from the same location. Really need to get myself a decent wide-angle lens for my next trip to Achill.

That’s me on there alright. Have got through some of the mountains but don’t get out near as often as I’d like!
I’ve been reading away about the iconic mountains of Ireland that I know, or would love to climb, and you seem to have been up most of them! Some great shots too with the articles. Great stuff.

Where were you reading the articles? Done a few articles on the Iconic Mountains of Ireland (Errigal, Slievemore, Muckish, Binnian) for a website.
I did Paul, saw the link in one of your mountainviews posts. Brilliant stuff. Have them bookmarked. I’d say Errigal will be high on my list of mountains to try.
Save Errigal for a clear day, the views from up there are quite stunning. If you get going early, you can combine it with a separate hike up Muckish which is another superb mountain.
Muckish definitely on the list too, and Loughsalt Mountain nearby. The photos in those articles are amazing.
