    Hi tony
Very nice shot and well handled in a tricky lighting situ.,
I would maybe try and burn the back window in some more to bring some detail back to the glass.
    Lovely composition too

really beautiful shot . the exposure is absolutely perfect !!!…particularly under very tricky lighting conditions . are there multiple exposures at work here ? or a lot of selective levels/curves ?..if not , how did you retain so much detail in the windows and light bulbs? or was the church very bright ?

    Thanks Jodal for your comments.

This is one handheld exposure only, with some Photoshop work. I busted the ISO to 800 which the D7000 handles very well, also the 24-70mm makes the whole difference.

I’m using the Color Efex Pro 4 which helps a lot. I’m still in the trial period but will purchase it as soon as expires, well worth the money.

The Church was quite bright, I took this shot just after the Easter service around noon, the day was very bright outside and the church has massive windows all around.

The burst of light from the light bulbs were done in post.

Not sure I’m one to be commenting on posts of anything archictectural but even though it’s a nice shot, the one thing that struck me on this was that there didn’t seem to be anything to actually focus on. I was drawn to the pulpit, the benches on the left ,the altar and the chandeliers. Well exposed (one exposure!!!), processed etc. apart from the window (minor) but for me nothing in particular stands out. Sorry, I’m not great with these type of shots myself so maybe my comments aren’t worth much but thought I’d give my opinion anyway :)
By the way, one of my favourite countries. Lovely people and lovely scenery. Wish I had the money to travel there again. #

i agree with mark, a figure praying somewhere in the scene would definitely add that missing something…

Thanks Mark and Isabella for your comments.

Amazingly enough there were a few people still in the church when I started to take pictures and I waited when the hall was empty to take the overall. My Idea was to show the beauty of the place but indeed, now that you guys said and I thought a bit about it, it does give that feeling of something missing…
