Not an easy shot considering how fast these actually are, nice one though!

Nice pose & composition. For months I was trying (last year) to get a decent shot of one of these, but no joy. :( The smaller birds kept chasing it away. They are great to watch hovering over a spot watching & waiting for prey.Thanks Dave, I was only out for about two hours yesterday and I saw

Mallards
Lapwings
Curlews
Meadow Pippit
Small ducks (couldnt identify them)
Sparrows
Robin
Goldfinch
So there is plenty out there, especially in the sun.Thanks Mikka, it was nice to see him, I always get excited when I see birds of prey
I dont think I will ever tire of them, there are buzzards flying over the house almost
daily and I always run out to have a look :)
