FajitasParticipant
Did my first shoot with kids today, was interesting to say the least. managed to over-expose everything…but it worked out for some high key efforts.
Quite happy with some of them :)

As always, happy to hear what you have to say!
gerardkParticipantI think the 2nd 5th and 7th ones are strongest. I didnt like the burned look in the 3rd one, 6 would look good as a high key one but I am not sure about the crop on that one. 7 is probably the best imo – it looks like 2 completely different looks within the same photograph – really brings out the differences in both faces (presumably father and son), plus they are both looking happy which helps.
FajitasParticipantThanks Ger!
Looking back, I’ll have to redo the blurring on it, make it more subtle and give more of a gradient.
Yep, was father and son alright, and I was thinking earlier on about how there’s the soft skin and then wrinkled weathered skin.
:)
Anyone else?
goonerParticipantThe high-key look is great. Preference in terms of photographs would be the second last one.
FajitasParticipantCheers!
Client had a brief look at them today, gonna give her a contact sheet for her to show me which ones she wants a print at, and what sizes…Payday monday, new lens next week!!!! :D :D :D
elvenParticipantTrying for an early night so just a quick note – that first one really did it for me. It just captured the cheekiness perfectly I think. If it was my sprog I’d love a big print of that.
FajitasParticipantgerardkParticipantI think if anything that wall is too bright in shot 1 – I would either crop it to the side or darken it a bit – just my thoughts on it.
AliParticipantReally like the third image, what a cute little man :). I probably would have cropped 1:1 to leave the boy and hand – something
distracting about the hand but it’s a lovely capture. Well done.
