    hello folks, i’m new here and new to photography in general. i took this earlier
    all advice, comments and criticism welcome

    Excellent shot. Great capture of the moon and Venus(?) and the other planet in the middle distance. Very well composed. New to photography? Could have fooled me.

    I think a crop of the bottom, maybe get rid of half the water would help this picture. Good shot otherwise.

    Afraid I disagree.

    I would do a portrait crop on it, removing a fair bit on the right and keeping the relfection on the water. A nice capture, with some great colours.

    thanks for the replies folks. the pic was taken from the car park about 20 feet above the beach (the tide was in).
    i was worried about the moon being too blurry and camera shake in general as i don’t have a tripod (yet).
    i had the camera balanced on my woolly hat on the car park wall. another thing i thought might be a wrong was that there isn’t really much
    in the foreground. i like the idea of cropping it portrait style though. i have no idea about how to go about that but when i figure it out i’ll give it a bash.
