You don’t see much posted from Co Roscommon on PI so here goes…

Dont do much Colour anymore… Spent the weekend in my grandparents old place this weekend. Took a walk down the fields to the lake and took this shot…. Not sure about the composition, a bit wandering if that makes sense….

    Cheers for looking

Taken on the Nikon D200 with a 20mm with a polaraizer Filter. Cropped to a square….

EDIT1: Uploaded a version without the stick, thanks to miki g for the suggestion…

Hi Martin. I like this, but I find the post (or is it a periscope from the Irish navy’s stealth submarine) a bit distracting.

Thats for the feedback Alan and most importantly for the honesty…

Thought it was wondering a bit just wanted to hear it from someone else too. Also wanted to post a pic taken in Roscommon as its rare around PI

    All the best

Seen it on your flickr stream Martin, I come over to PI the odd time and post, and Im from Boyle in Ros. to be honest I think it lacks a central focal point your looking at the whole pic at once and not at something to lead you in. Hope im not to critical.

am delighted to see this, my gran was from Roscommon, a bit further south in Knockcroghery and she often told me about her father going fishing on the nearby lakes.

would agree it lacks a central focus, I feel we need to see more of what is to the left of the image. also agree that the colours look really natural.
