Been out here too Gary living reletively near check this pic didnt want to step in your thread by imbedding an image http://www.flickr.com/photos/25487076N07/2739061351/

Never seen these piers shot at night have to say it makes for a nice shot pity the moon isnt absolutely square with the pier it would have made for a really symmetrical image have you tried the image with the model in a more relaxed contrived pose it might make for a more relaxing natural picture. I am only nit picking here though they are really strong and well composed…

I don’t really like the silhoutte of the person, other than that I really like the first, in my opinion this one has the best composition and I think the colour works very well.

Lovely pictures, never thought of doing it at night, we don’t live near but Father in Law lives in Tipp so when we are down we generally take a spin out to killaloe.

I love the simplicity of the second shot.. straightforward composition, nice light, lovely b&w conversion..

3rd is possibly the best of the bunch but over all I find them to dark looking. personally I would have gone for a longer exposure to brighten them up a bit, you would still get the night time look also….

    mmhhhh….nice ones….favorite no 2.
No 1 and no 3 needs more story, maybe another pose. no 3 is gymnastic practise at full moon night and no 1 is : a femal batman. :D

Sorry to make fun out of it! there was a big invitation. The image idea is fantastic, the manifestation needs a more powerfull storypose. Light is wonderful!

Gary, I’m definitely going back down here next time there’s such a strong moon.

My favourite is number 3, the silhouette against that strong light works very well.

If I was to pick, and its only because this is one of my favourite places to shoot, I’d have shot at a different angle, simply because the divide between the water and hills disects the body and is a little distracting.
