    Hi Folks,
    Attached are a couple of images taken while on a walk along the seafront at Killiney, Dublin.

    i really like the low angle of view, did you put the camera on the ground?

    not mad on the depth of field in the first one, the pile of pebbles doesnt really say anything to me.

    i think the second has more going on in the scene but i cant help wishing that bit of sky in the upper right wasnt quite so over exposed…

    Might you check the horizon? I think it needs a little untilting.

    I prefer the first one. I think the pebbles add colour and texture tot he shot and the angle the shot is taken from makes the image a whole lot more interesting than the first one.I would crop out some of the sky as there is nothing really interesting going on there and you want the viewers eye drawn to what is in focus which is why you have chosen the DOF you have used.
