I really like this image… looks great well done. You’ve definitely captured the atmosphere of the jail in this.
The only thing is I don’t really like the manhole – I’d suggest cropping just above it or cloning it out it you want to keep the space. OK it does sit well with the curved boardwalk and the roof light… but I dunno?!

Great perspective. The detail and the various layers is a treat.
Great colour in the yellows – was that natural or photoshop enhanced?If you don’t mind teh beginers question, how did you measure the perspective ( is that the right term where you move the camera so the various images line up correctly) through each differnet shot?

Thanks for the feedback. Have to say I’m chuffed to bits with this.
Alan – it’s 18 identical shots at different exposures, not 18 shots stitched together side by side. It’s technically known as HDR, or “high dynamic range” if you want to google some more info.

Very nice realistic HDR, I quite like HDR when it is kept within certain limits of reality, what I don’t like in HDR is when people over do it witch happens in 90% of the cases anyways.
This is great HDR work of a very well composed image.

I think the manhole cover is great….It’s like the classic parodied jail scene where the inmates seem to have the most obvious getaway. “I know why don’t we put a manhole cover right in the middle of the jail!” Great thinking there :D
Excellent shot. I’ve just been reading about HDR actually but I was struggling to find a good example of
the end result. This is great image. Nice oneI’m lovin’ it, lovin’ it, lovin’ it :) very very nice Tim – you went all out here and it really paid off. Colours are great – perpective, really nice – up there with Isolation. No more moaning ok ;)
