Beautiful photo and an excellent and a very helpful writeup. If I ever get the chance to snap these guys I’ll be reading up on your post. I’ve only ever seen the blue blur flying by but even that’s an experience in itself.

i’d say you were chuffed with this. well done, the detail and the sharpness is amazing. i too have only seen the blue blur as they fly by the river
