Not sure Gordon Ramsay would be too impressed!
C&C welcome, as always..
I know the watermark ruins it… Tried a number of locations, and this one worked best!
Thanks for looking!

MartinParticipantNever looked in this forum before. This is a nice first image to see in it. Don’t know much about this type of photography but i like this image. Really like the open doors on the cooker i think they really add to the picture. Colours and detail eg crumbling plaster, wall sockets etc are very nice and add to the picture also. This is the sort of picture i like to see blown up large as you can stare at it for a long while going through all the detail
Only thing i can suggest to improve it would be maybe an old style simple chair under the window faced towards the cooker
Super shot is this digital or film? What process did you use to get the colours?
O and you have a nice kitchen Tim:-)
Cheers
MearthairfireParticipantThanks Martin.
The photo is actually 6 seperate exposures, all 2 stops apart, mapped together as an “HDR” image. Taken on a 20D with 17-40 F4L lens.
Once it’s mapped, I tweaked curves, corrected perspective distortion, cropped and sharpened.
That’s it!

LoGillParticipantLove it .. Colours , detail, light and composition – all spot on.. I wouldn’t change a thing !
Is this one of the many abandoned houses up around the border counties – I believe there are plenty in Monaghan and Louth.. Keep meaning to go snooping ..

earthairfireParticipantFlipflipParticipantIts a bit too heavily edited for my liking, looks a tad overcooked IMO.
But I think if it wasnt as heavily edited Id really like this!
joe_elwayParticipantLove it. Great colours. Lots of stuff going on …. none of it good in a house but all of it good in a photo.
AliParticipantSuper super super Tim. Damn you and your feckin’ tripod :D. I should have bought a tripod instead of the sb800  Love it :) P.S Your verticals seem a bit off… (just kiddin  )
GrahamBParticipantVery cool Tim, is this a secret location or do youwant to tell
us where it was. Just curious
