There’s an interesting article here on Kodak’s future film plans.

Sounds like it could well happen. What’s next then, Photographic Paper……….

I suppose one would be foolish not to see it coming. They cut film production by 63% in 2004 and I dont know what has been happening since on their film side of the business.

Looking at the amount of digital cameras you see at any event today would lead one to realise that it would be suicide for a major corporation to keep film production going. Even the shop selling film will tell you their film sales have dropped through the floor.

I expect we will see Fuji moving in a different direction also.

And Kodak won’t be at Focus this year either  …….

A former Kodak employee that had a contact at the shareholders meeting that spawned those articles said on another forum

Of main interest was this. Perez said that Kodak would let traditional (analog) photography play out to the end as it made $300 M this last year.

    I’m more worried about Polaroid
