I hate to say, but I delete shots like this all the time. They’re simply out of focus. Most magazine would reject them also. Take the 2nd one.. the mic stand is in focus, she’s not.
Capturing moments is what you want, but there needs to be some sense of sharpness to it.
If you had posted these at web size you might not have had comments about sharpness-
I like the colour, even if that was mostly down to the lighting designer-

The lighting was basically 3 spots and 1 very small smoke machine, that i was controlling!…it didnt look like this in real life atall!
I know her very well, I stayed with her in los angeles recently and hopefully she is comign back this year for the summer to gig etc.
