Impressive landscape and it should have more impact. What I think is holding it back is that you have included too much cloud area and it competes directly with the landscape for the viewers attention. I would suggest that you crop out half the cloud from the top and see how you feel about it.

a fine vista but it would probably benefit from some foreground interest as it is the image lacks that something to anchor the eye.

thanks for the suggestion tex, I did try it but preferred the clouds because they contrast with the distant island and nearer landscape :(
