mattoslavParticipant
Hello,
I’m going to Ireland on february ’08 to make some pics of Ireland’s beautiful landscape and seascape. I’d like to travel from Dublin to Galway(quick move) and then heading to Sligo, Donegal to the Giant’s causeway. I have 6 days for that trip.
Can u please advise some nice view, landscapes, traditional Irish old houses, where to stay, what to see, some good and cheap B&B? I wanna visit Connemara mountains for sure, Carrick a Redge, and so on.Thx so much!
martin
Madra RuaParticipantA word of warning:
6 days is NOT enough time to drive from Dublin to Galway to Connemara, Sligo, Donegal and on to Antrim if you want to see anything AND take photos.I suggest you stick with either the West Coast, the North West or the North
For example:
West
Co. Clare: The Burren, Mullaghmore, Cliffs of Moher
Co. Galway: Aran islands, Connemara, Kylemore Abbey, Killary Harbour (Fjord),North West
Co. Mayo: Croagh patrick, Clew Bay, Achill Island, North Mayo Coast Drive, Down Patrick head with D?n Briste, Killala Bay,
Co. Sligo: Lough Gill, Glencar, Ben BulbenHave a look here for landscape photo locations
mattoslavParticipantMadra Rua: I know 6 days is not enough for that trip,… for sure I’d like to go to connemara mts, to Sligo and Donegal. Could you please suggest some nice places to stay, some nice harbours (I liked the Dingle harbour so much), some lighthouses, sightseeings,…
I’ve browsed through the web, but didn’t find any helpful info about Ireland’s most interesting areas where to stay.Thank you
mattoslavParticipantSo I’m back from IE, trip: Dub, Galway, Lough Corrib, Connemara Mts, Sligo, Donegal, Fanad Head(the most beautiful lighthouse I’ve ever seen), Giants causeway, Belfast, Dublin.
Pictures can be found on my website; http://www.mattoslav.comspudMemberi hope you took more than 7 photos!! i checked out your 07 shots and there are some great ones in there.
jb7ParticipantWell done-
I think you’ve seen more of Ireland than I ever have-You should put some of those pics up in the critique forums-
