Was out the other morning, some nice mist and took afew shots C & C welcome. Ye’d have guessed all taken in the same place.Joe
DeeboParticipantNice shots. Like to see the first a bit bigger if possible
Last shot is my pick, very peaceful and tranquil picture, quick sharpen might improve it
DeeMadeleineCalaidoWeberParticipantlovely lovely lovely  what a gorgeous moment. Love all versions, the b&W looks very fineart minimalistical.
colour version very different but fantastic as well! Cool. cheers MLudaParticipantWhere is this? Looks so peaceful.
I like them all, especially the first one.
I think maybe the colours are pushed only just too much on the last one, but only just.
I keep scrolling back up to look at the first one cos I like it so much. :)rc53MemberVery impressive and impressionistic.
The contrail in #3 isn’t so nice, though.BallymanParticipantI love the first one. Excellent work.
Have you tried it as a very high contrast B&W?alancotterParticipantmgstParticipantBMParticipantI don’t care where you post them – as long as you do!! I want to be able to take photographs like that.
They are the best I’ve seen in a long time.
Hope to see some more of them.
kenhParticipantHi Joe, one negative for me is the grey cloud in No.1 – somehow it doesn’t add to the overall composition.
BUT
All three are just stunning – like Brian said, I can’t remember when I last saw such beautiful shots – hope you
can make a few bob out of them!DuchovnyParticipantpiusno1MemberThanks for all the great comments, didn’t expect them, im delighted.
Kenh Not sure what grey cloud you mean, not the island ?
Duchovny These shots were taken last tues morning at Doon Shore Boyle Co. Roscommon, just down the road from me.
Joe
GrahamBParticipantAlan RossiterParticipantGreat set…my sort of shots especially #2 but #1 is a stunner. #3 as has been said might be a little too blue but I wouldn’t mind having that problem!
Excellent.
Alan
RobMemberVery good…
Nice finish on these, though I do think that compositionally there are some
niggling issues, or at least I think they’re niggles…Some simple crops would help; the second, which I find the strongest of the
set, could tolerate enough off the top to crop it to a square. The first, a little off
the bottom and a fraction more off the left…The third is probably the weakest of the set for me. A lower shooting angle would
have helped, and a crop again, this time from the bottom to bring the corner of the
pier to the corner of the frame…Just my tuppence worth…
