"Last" Cigarette

This is my friend a second after his last cigarette.
As it turned out it wasn’t to become his last.

I really like it – lovely DoF … i think it needs a tweak of contrast and some selective sharpening .. but the expression is pensive and i love the diagonal composition.
he looks very happy in front of camera — take advatnage of that ;)

With regards to the selective sharpening… it’s no “sharp pixels” to sharpen.
It’s one of my first shots with my new toy, so it was shot at f/1.2, and the DOF is just so insane tight.
Since then I’ve come to be a bit more careful with the 1.2… *lol*
