Last light

Very little to be honest, exposure tweak and a touch of clarity, using Lightroom 4 and finding it really good
I very rarely have to go into Photoshop now.lovely shot Jenny. May i ask how u got the sun burst( have never quite managed it fully) ?
Just luck I think Sirvad! I had the focus point about a third of the way into the
frame, and the sun was only half way shining through the arch, so the sun was
half behind the tower and not at full strength, that might have had something to
do with it, but it was by accident and not design :lol: thanks for looking.nice image… i recognise this location from shots you did a good while back!
sirvad: use a small aperture and keep the sun in the frame and you will get a sun burst like that
Thanks Isabella, yes I go there every so often, it is such a lovely location
and it is only about 20 mins away from me, so easy access.Good composition ,leading lines, good detail,nice sky , nicely handled ,fantastic image ,well done.
Missed this post earlier Jen – as good a shot as I’ve seen of the lake.
I must get my insect repellent and hoodie out – and tip up there one of these calm balmy evenings.

the lake is that it looks good in most weathers, and the midgies don’t like the rain :wink:
