Last light on Valentia

    Taken just outside Portmagee, Valentia Island, Co. Kerry – 26 July 2012. The Skellig rocks are on the horison.
    Needless to say i was chasing Puffins for the two days – more to follow.

    Canon 5DMKII, 17-40, Lee o.0 soft grad, f/16, ISO50.

    Beautiful scene, lovely colours in the foreground flowers, well taken.

    Apart from a successful exposure there appears to be no point of interest beyond the flowers in the foreground and I do think that you could crop off a large portion of the sky area.

    No point of interest beyond the flowers…are you looking at the same photo i’m looking at ??? This is a stunning landscape photo and one that I would love to call my own…no point of interest…jeez…thats the best laugh I had in awhile.

    The only time I got in Valentia was in the middle of one the Atlantic storms that slam the west coast every year (month, day?). For a change it is nice to see how the place really looks like in a proper description. Thank you for sharing that!
