Lastolite Hotshoe softbox

Has anyone tried the new lastolite hotshot softbox thing
It looks quite intresting as the idea is to use it instead of a studio flash head
Its about ?90 Stg so a good deal cheaper than buying a flash head and I wouldnt get in soooo much trouble with the missus
I think this would be a great asset to any location / portrait photographers arsenal. I’m not sure if this is the same item as Steve is talking about but i’ll post the link here anyway.

I personally will be investing in one, like Steve i would be interested to hear if anyone out there has already been using one and how do you think it copes………

I know one of my colleagues uses one full time and highly recommends it. I have seen the results and they are very good.
It does help to spread the light more evenly and eleminates hot spots pretty well. I have been trying to get one for a few months now ……. ordered it from 2 suppliers but still have not got it. Lastolite usually have a stand at Pro-Foto in Dublin at end of January and at Focus in Birmingham in February so I just might pick one up at one of these shows. At Pro-Foto they usualy give 15% off as well.
