Latest Gig Shots

Took a loooooong break from shooting gigs, but was asked to do one there over the weekend. Ended up being one of my favourite gigs to shoot, even if my photos weren’t spectacular! It was supposed to have been held in a pub, but when the pub found out it was a metal gig, they decided they didnt want it there…long long story…Aaaaaanyways, it ended up being in an old abandoned warehouse… And was fecking awesome! Fantastic atmosphere there!
Anywho, let me know what you think… :)
Those are great shots – very atmospheric and looks like it was lots of fun. A bit more interesting than the standard formulaic big-gig pictures. That 3rd one of the short guy is probably my favourite of those.
First two are full of moment, perfect for this type of photograph.
Like the 3rd one alsoThe only one I didn’t like was the second one. First one is a great action shot, third shot is probably my favourite just for the expression on his face.

Ger, that chap is actually average height, but Rory,the guy behind him is 6 foot 9 or so…! :P
The second one is one of your typical gig shot with slow sync…an effect that’s either loved or loathed!

Kinda bulling I missed that gig now.
And yeah, that guy in the back(Rory) is one of the biggest persons I have ever seen! He is just huge!
Oh yeah, and I think there should deffo be a Concert Photography Board.
