If you go to an Arts Week like http://www.clifdenartsweek.ie/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; or http://kinsaleartsfestival.com/” onclick=”window.open(this.href);return false; can you shoot performance in a public area. Is there a difference between doing it just for a hobby and the possibility of selling it.

    It depends.

Are the events indoors or outdoors? Are the events ticketed? Does the ticket mention photography/video? Where would you be selling the images/video?

    Outdoors. On street. Non tickets.

Is there a difference in law if it is being sold. I do not have a market but may want to seek one, want to know where i stand.

If i wanted to make a documentary and sell a dvd of it would it be legal given the performers will be on it?
