Dunno about this one. I don’t think the facial expression really suits the background or pose. It seems more like a break in the shooting than a fashion type shot.
Just my thoughts though.

Thanks for the comments Brian, doesnt suit the background Huh? :? Is this not a neutral colour without any distracting elements. Actually it was a break in the shoot :D
irishshaguaParticipantJust meant that I would consider that all white background as set-up for a type of shoot, fashion in this case and the facial expressions would look more at home in big fluffy jumper and having a cup of bovril or something….. :? :? Not really sure I explained what was in me head perfectly there though. … sorry
PixelleMemberAgree with Irish the model is posing c asually, as though in jeans sitting on the grass or something, whereas in a sophisticated outfit like this she should be in a much more elegant pose.
AnonymousParticipantV.True about pose suiting the dress etc deffo agree, although fashion for me is either Editorial or commercial. The later is what i get asked for mostly and they love the happy clappy type stuff and hey if thats what floats their boat then great. However the dress is very elegant and maybe something more sophicticated would work here. Heres another one from the same shoot.
Brain-Appreciate ur advise,i now know where ur coming from -sorry :oops:irishshaguaParticipantA lot better. Although the skin tones look off in this one a tad. The knees look very red and the shoulders very white compared to other parts of the body. I’ve never done any studio photography (past taking pictures of my girlfriend which she actually cried at when she saw them  ) but maybe something could be done postprocessing stage to equalise the skin colour.
Nice pix though.
