Took this while out taking landscape shots…wasn’t getting anything decent so I changed to my macro lens and shot this. Temperature has been tweaked for the blue colour cast. I’ve also done some dodging and burning, and sharpening in Photoshop.

Interested in the ‘macro as landscape’ feel to this one….C&C welcome

Unusual shot. Something I like about it, not sure what though lol. Maybe its the colours and the leaves with their ‘hairs’ showing…

The menacing << whatever>> aproaches! Creepy.

I like it, it went past the cliche sunset images with the detail in the leaves and keeping the colours and exposure of the foreground balanced with the background. It is always good idea to change what you are doing if you don’t find your pictures good enough…

Only the blue looks a bit strange to me, but it can be only my colour blindness.

    Thanks for the comments all!

Randomway – the tint was produced in photoshop intentionally – the colours didn’t look great so I decided to try and make it a bit more unusual so the leaves would stand out more against the background. You’re not going colour blind!
