What’s the aperture of your Sigma lens? If it’s f5.6 then you can expect this to go to f11 with a converter…this needs a nuclear explosion to get enough light. Also you’ll have to manual focus as auto won’t work. It’ll do a job just not a brilliant one with a slower lens.
    APO means this:

    It’s a positive for a lens.

Hi hijacker and welcome to the site.

I hope you enjoy being a member.

A suitable teleconverter can be quite useful and affordable way of
extending the focal lenght of a lens but as Alan has pointed can
    have some downsides.
You have quite a long lens already.

I would be wary of making a quick decision about buying anything
because the buyer has other interested parties unless of course
you are sure that the item is a good purchase.

Patience can often be very useful even when waiting for replies to your posts. :)

    Good luck.

    John.

thanks alot for the replies guys, i was a bit impatient due to not wanting to lose a good deal if indeed, that was what it was, having read your advice i’ve decided to hold off on buying a lens and bide my time if you will, look at other sales etc. Once again thanks for the advice and if you have anything else to add please dont hesitate to let me know, any help is good help :D
